Come out at 3 pm to enjoy a FREE bounce house playground for all ages, food truck offerings (pay-as-you-go) and more!
Then stick around for three rock concerts beginning at 6:30 pm featuring Skillet, Hoobastank and We the Kings.

If you are planning to invite or escort friends and family onto MAFB for Rock Fest on August 20, 2022, we request that you take advantage of the Visitor Center’s Operational hours (7:30 am – 4:30 pm) the week of August 15 – 19 to have a (5-10 day) pass issued for those friends and family who plan to attend the Rock Fest event. The more passes issued prior to the event, the less backed up traffic we will have coming onto the installation.
RockFest FAQ
Can I bring my dog/cat?
Pets are not allowed at the RockFest, with the exception of service animals. Please be prepared to show the proper paperwork at the entry.
What food options will be available?
A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the duration of the event.
Should I bring hearing protection for my small children or is it provided?
Bring your hearing protection. Earplugs are not provided.
Can I bring folding chairs?
Yes. Small folding chairs will be allowed to be carried from your car.
Can I bring my cooler?
No. Coolers are prohibited.
Can I bring my canopy or pop-up tent?
No. Anything that could obstruct the view of other attendees is prohibited.
Can I bring a picnic lunch with drinks?
No outside food or beverages (except water and baby food) are allowed at Rock Fest.
Will there be designated parking?
On-base residents are advised to walk to the event if they are able to do so. Parking is available at the Grizzly Bend and Bldg 1191 (MPF). Handicapped parking will be marked in a lot outside of the entrance to Bay 6. Parking and driving on the flight line is prohibited.
Where is the entrance to the RockFest?
The entrance is located near Bay 6. This is the only authorized entrance to the event. Entry from the flight line is prohibited.
Will there be handicapped parking?
Yes. Handicapped parking will be available at the entrance to Bay 6.
