Trail will depend on snow conditions.  The Two Medicine Valley is in the southeast corner of Glacier. Check out the majestic beauty of the area with its vast open vistas, desolate peaks and the wide-open frozen lake.

Mileage: 6 Miles (out and back)

Elevation Gain: Minimal

Difficulty: Easy

Includes: Instruction/guide, transportation, safety equipment, hiking sticks, snowshoes, headlamps (If needed), and snacks/refreshments

Devil’s Glen offers an easy family friendly hike/snowshoe at the base of the Front Range. Usually during the summer this hike offers an opportunity to dip your feet, but during this time of year the fall colors come to life.

Mileage: 6 miles paddling (Out and Back

Elevation Gain:  650 Feet

Difficulty: Easy

Cost: $15 RecOn (All Active Duty and Dependents)

Primitive and organic, the sport of axe throwing just seems to fit anyone searching for an adventure. It takes you back to the basics and relaxes the mind. Grab a friend and join us afterwork as we head downtown for a night of axe throwing and dinner.

Saturday, December 7 | 5 pm – Midnight

Enjoy a great evening of snowshoeing at Silver Crest located in the Little Belt Mountains near Neihart. There are more than 8 miles of groomed and ungroomed trails for beginners to advanced. This is a trip you don’t want to miss!

Saturday, December 14 & 28 | 6 am – 7:30 pm

Spend the day at Great Divide Ski Area. With 5 chair lifts and 1,500 acres of terrain ranging from beginner to expert, Great Divide offers plenty of opportunity to decompress with family and friends, learn a new skill or practice the skills you have. If renting equipment, you must visit ODR at least 7 days prior to the trip to fill out rental agreement form.

Includes: Transportation, group lessons (age restrictions), lift ticket, equipment rental (skis/board, boots, poles) and lunch in the Great Divide lodge.

• Group Skiing Lessons: Ages 5 or older
• Group Snowboard Lessons: Ages 5 or older

Ski the heart of Montana! One hundred percent natural snow, no lift lines and family friendly. Join us and learn to ski or snowboard at Showdown Ski Area. If renting equipment, you must visit ODR at least 3 days prior to the trip to fill out rental agreement form.

Includes: Transportation, group lessons (ages restrictions), lift ticket, equipment rental (skis/board, boots, poles) and lunch in the Showdown lodge.

• Group Skiing Lessons: Ages 7 or older
• Group Snowboard Lessons: Ages 11 or older
