Teen Leadership ClubMake a difference in your community and become a teen ambassador! The Youth Program’s Keystone/Teen Council provides leadership development opportunities through activities in three focus areas; academic success, career preparation and community service. Your voice matters! Ages: 13-18 |
Pre-Teen Leadership ClubFor young leaders in the making. Did you know that Torch club is focused on strengthening leadership skills and helping youth become responsible caring citizens through service-learning projects, teambuilding activities, and public speaking opportunities. Ages: 9-12 |
STEM ClubDoes your youth show interest in STEM? Join us in exploring science, technology, engineering, and math with hands-on projects that lead youth to cool innovations and real-world applications. We look forward to an EPIC (Experimenting, Prototyping, Inventing and Creating) science journey with you! Cost: Free for YP members |
Cultural ClubJoin us as we walk through cultures from around the world. Learning and exploring music, fashion, food, language, and traditions. Cost: Free for YP members |
Youth Fitness ClubLet’s get active! Regular physical activity can help youth improve sleep, learning, anxiety, depression, and physical health. Join us for a variety of aerobic exercise, strength training and flexibility activities such as, basketball, soccer, dance, tennis, skating, yoga, gym games, Pilates, badminton, volleyball, kickball, hiking, and more. Cost: Free for YP members |
Computer CenterMalmstrom Youth Programs encourages and strongly promotes the use of electronic technologies for our members. The computer center has the latest in computer technology including digital arts program and digital printer. Outside of targeted computer programming, youth are asked to utilize the schedule of activities for each day. Boys and Girls Clubs America – My Future platform gives program members opportunities to earn and win prizes from the program and BGCA partners. Members must have parental permission in order to use the computer center and take part in programs offered. Both parent and youth must sign permission/agreement. |
Youth of the Year PathwaysTeens who are interested in the Youth of the Year (YOY) program and contest are encouraged to attend Monday afternoons to gain skills in the areas of public speaking, writing, community services and more. Program goals include preparing teens who are interested in becoming the Youth of the Year and mentoring the JR. YOY program. |
