Youth Summer Camps Registration begins April 7
Join us this summer for Malmstrom Summer Adventure Camp! Malmstrom’s first 11-week summer camp program for Youth Programs Members ages 9-18! We have 11-weeks of jam-packed fun, field trips, Arts & Crafts, sports and much more.
Membership Options
There are two options for Youth Memberships.
Cost: Yearly Membership (October – September) – $60 (Pro-rated for the month registered) or Monthly Membership – $5
Registration Instructions
All registrations will begin on April 7 through the CYP-BMS Parent Portal, also known as 1 Core. If you already have an account you can register under Summer Adventure Camp for the weeks you would like your child(ren) to attend.
If you do not already have an account or you have an account at another installation, please contact the Youth Center at 406-731-4634 and we will get you logged in or transferred.
Please note that your profile and any other registration paperwork (i.e., a copy of current immunizations, health assessment, if applicable medication authorization, allergy exposure response, asthma action plan, emergency medication action plan, special needs package, etc.) must be completed prior to your child’s/youth’s attendance in CYP.
Identifying Special Needs: If your child/youth has been identified with a special need (physical, developmental, behavioral, impaired), an Inclusion Action Plan must be approved prior to enrollment. Note: If you have an existing account from another installation, please contact the front desk for account transfer. In addition to CYPBMS-Parent Portal the following needs to be completed:
- Complete Special Needs paperwork if applicable.
All payments are now run through the CYPBMS-Parent Portal, cash and checks are no longer accepted.
Week 1: AF Paintball Camp
Monday – Friday, June 9 – 13 | 8 am – Noon
Registration: April 7
Paintball specialty camp will provide youth the opportunity to experience physical fitness, teamwork, effective communication, critical thinking, and equipment safety while building technical skills. Camp instruction will focus on equipment safety, targeting, strategy, problem solving, cooperation, communication and physical fitness.
Must have up to date immunization due at registration. Sports physical and shot record with current flu shot is required for participation.

Week 2: Mini Golf and Bowling
Monday – Wednesday, June 16 – 18 | 8 am – 1 pm
Registration: April 7
Join the Youth Center for one day of mini golf, and two days of bowling at Aces High Bowling. Bowling lane and shoes are provided.
Must have up to date immunization due at registration. Sports physical and shot record with current flu shot is required for participation.

Week 3: Passion and Purpose Camp
Monday-Friday, June 23 – 27 | 8 am – Noon
Registration: April 7
Join the Youth Center for a week of exploration into the various careers available in the Great Falls community. Youth will visit the Montana School of Salons, the Maclean Animal adoption center, participate in an in-house art class specializing in glass art, and KRTV news/weather station. Community providers are subject to change based on availability. Youth will also spend time swimming at the Aim High Activity Center.

Week 4: Disc Golf Camp
Monday – Thursday, June 30 – July 3 | Time: 8 am- Noon
Registration: April 7
Youth will learn the fundamental skills of disk golf base-side and then later in the week take their skills on the road to the various courses around Great Falls. Disc golf is beneficial for mental health offering stress relief and a sense of accomplishment. Youth will also spend time swimming at the Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Center.

Week 5: Everything STEM Camp
Tuesday – Friday, July 8 – July 11 | Time: 8 am – 1 pm
Registration: April 7
Youth will create, explore, design, conduct, and learn all there is to discover during this weeklong adventure into STEM activities. Each field we dive into introduces concepts, tools, and a team initiative leading to clues. Youth will learn about robotics, geology, scientific methods, electricity/solar power, astronomy, chemistry, and rockets!
Youth will go swimming on Friday at Scheels Aim High Big Sky Aquatic and Recreation Center.
Must have up to date immunization due at registration. Sports physical and shot record with current flu shot is required for participation.

Week 6: AF Culinary Camp
Monday – Friday, July 14 – 18 | TBD

Come explore the world of an immersive, hands-on experience where the campers learn essential cooking skills, explore diverse cuisine, and create delicious meals, all while having fun and building confidence in the kitchen. Week 7: AF Performing Arts Camp: Missoula Children’s Theatre
Monday – Friday, July 21 – 25 | TBD
Registration: April 7
Lights, Camera, ACTION! Join us for a week of performing arts, where youth audition, rehearse and perform a play in a week! Youth will be acting, dancing and singing catchy tunes that will be in their heads for weeks to come. This is an AF hosted Specialty Youth Camp. Week 8: AF Teen Leadership Summit
Sunday – Thursday, July 27 – July 31 | TBD
Registration: April 7- June 7
Join other teens from various Air Force bases for a week of outdoor leadership adventure. Teens will explore Glacier National Park, hike, raft, participate in a community project and this all takes place in the Flathead Valley– Loon Lake. Teen leadership Summit is fully funded and supported by the Air Force with the goal of guiding teens through leadership immersion in the outdoors.
Registration for teen leadership summit does not guarantee that your teen will be selected to attend due to the limited space.

Week 9: The Great Outdoors Camp
Monday – Friday, August 4 – 8 | 8 am – Noon
Registration: April 7
This week campers will hike the River’s Edge Trail along the West Bank, and then along the Rainbow Dam Trailhead. A guest speaker from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks, will join the Youth Center this week to share a brief history about the origin of The Great Falls.

Week 10: 4-H Camp Week
Monday – Friday, August 11 – 15 | 8 am – Noon
Registration: April 7
Head, Heart, Hands & Health- the 4 H’s of 4-H. This week we will be headstrong in the kitchen, gardening with full hearts to deliver bouquets, woodworking with our hands, and learning about how to incorporate each of these into a healthy life.

Week 11: AF Basketball Camp
Monday – Friday, August 18 – 22 | TBD
Registration: April 7
Come shoot some hoops and learn the fundamentals of a sport that is fun to play, and easy to learn. From passing, shooting, and defense drills the camper will gain individual instruction to maximize confidence in the game of basketball.
