Horseback Ride Sun Canyon
Experience Montana the way it was meant to be seen—from the saddle! Join us for a breathtaking morning horseback ride through Sun Canyon, located just outside Augusta, Mont. Tucked into a stunning gulch at the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front, you’ll ride with towering cliffs on one side, majestic mountains on the other, and a scenic river flowing by. It is an unforgettable adventure and a true Montana must-do!
Time: 1.5 – 2-hour trail ride
Itinerary:
- 7:15 am Meet at Outdoor Recreation
- 7:30 am Depart ODR
- 9:30 am Arrive at location. Get fitted for gear.
- 10 am Start Ride
- 12:30 pm Lunch Break
- 2:30 pm Depart location
- 4:30 pm Arrive ODR

Cost: $110 – Includes: Instruction/guide, 2-hour tour, transportation, and helmet.
Requirements:
Ages: 8+ (ages up to 17 must be accompanied by an adult)
Personal equipment: Appropriate clothing for the weather, Long pants, sturdy boots (No open-toed shoes)
What to bring: 1 liter water, snacks for the road, Money/ Credit Card (VISA/Mastercard) to purchase lunch at lodge or pack a lunch.
