Cyanotype Workshop With PGSMOA- Create Beautiful Sun Prints

August 14 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Discover the magic of one of the world’s oldest photographic printing techniques. Taught by Rikka Walters, this fun and creative experience introduces participants to the fascinating process of making striking blue-and-white botanical and photographic prints using the power of sunlight. This workshop is 2 days. Day 1 you will learn about the history and science behind cyanotype printing, how to prepare light-sensitive paper, and arrange natural objects, stencils or photo negatives to create unique designs. The following morning students will bring in objects from home or from nature and will tone and color their prints with various dyes and art materials, creating a one-of-a-kind print.
