This instructor-led hunter education course provides new hunters with a hands-on learning experience and can be particularly beneficial for people who have minimum experience in the field or firearms.
Rifle safety course covers basic instruction in wildlife management, game identification, landowner/hunter relations, hunter ethics, and Montana Hunting laws and regulations.
Bowhunter Education Covers archery equipment, the proper uses of a bow and arrow, proper shot placement, hunter ethics, and skills needed for blood trailing.
Anyone wishing to hunt in Montana who was born after January 1, 1985, must complete a hunter education course issued by Montana or other state, or any Canadian Province. Participants must attend all sessions to receive certification.
