BRACKETS

Are you ready for the MADNESS? Play Malmstrom’s Bracket Wars free for a chance to win great prizes! Don’t worry — you don’t have to know anything about NCAA Men’s Basketball to play or to win.

Here’s how it works: Download your bracket Here », fill it out and turn it in before tip-off on March 15. The first five brackets submissions will win a prize, and prizes will be awarded throughout the all-conference championship tournament. To make sure even the most broken bracket has a chance to win, scoring will be progressive. This means if all of your Round 1 South choices are wrong, but you pick the West champion correctly and that team moves on to win the National Championship, you still can win. Make sure you fill the form out completely so you are eligible for all available points. See Sample Bracket here »

Determining the winner: Scoring will take place as games are finished, or on the first business day following the weekend games. 1 point will be awarded for each correct Round 1 pick, 2 for Round 2, 4 for Regional Semifinals, and so on. See Rules of Play » for additional information on scoring. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the person who chooses the closest National Championship Game combined total score (if the final score is 83-76, combined score is 159).

Seeing where you stand: A leaderboard will be displayed at the Grizzly Bend throughout the tournament, as well as the master bracket. The top 10 brackets will be displayed. The leaderboard will be updated after the completion of each round. To see where you rank, come into the Grizzly Bend any time during business hours.

Bonuses/Incentives: Anyone who submits their completed brackets by 3:30 p.m. today (Monday, March 12), will be awarded 3 bonus points. In addition, the first five people to submit brackets will receive a prize. If submitting by email, the bracket will be considered submitted when it is received by the bracket trackers.

To enter: Send your completed bracket to Donna Whitmore, or drop it off at the Grizzly Bend from 8 am to 5 pm.
