• On-line: Peterson’s DoD/MWR Library Education & Career Center for practice tests, information on schools & colleges, college prep, and the Online Academic Skills Course.
• The Librarian is available to assist students of all ages with their research needs. Library research instruction is available to students, individually or groups.
• Instructional guides and curriculum for homeschooling or homework assistance for children pre-school to college.
• Career planning and assistance through books, ebooks and online resources such a Peterson’s Portable Civilian Career Center and Gale’s Career Transitions.
• Periodical databases with access to over 10,000 full-text magazines, journals and newspapers through EBSCOHost Research databases, GALE Infotrac, Newsbank Hometown newspaper, and other databases.
• Databases for the do-it-yourselfer for life-long learning or just for the fun of it! Auto Repair, Hobbies & Crafts, Home Improvement & Small Engine Reference Centers, EBSCO’s NoveList or Gale’s Books & Authors.
• If the Library does not have it, chances are we can borrow it from one of the over 100K libraries world-wide that participate in the Inter-Library Loan Program.
• Get homework help through TUTOR.COM for K-12, associates through masters degrees, and career assistance. Ask a library staff member to sign you up today.
• Stop by the Library for the usernames and passwords of the databases and online resources available through the Library, Military One Source or the AF Portal.

The Library has special collections and resources for the military members and families, from the Chief of Staff Reading List, to Military Life Collection with materials on deployment, moving, finances, and the military lifestyle. We also have a special collection Just for the Military Child.
The Library can provide resources for units and organizations at Malmstrom. The Library purchases subscriptions, books, and online resources to support your mission. Please contact the librarian at 731-2748 or email The Library to see if your office qualifies.
The Library provides books and subscriptions to personnel at remote sites or deployed. The library also provides special services to Family Child Care Providers, Child Development Center, and the Youth Center.
READING FOR READINESS: The Airmen & Family Readiness Center and Library have the recording studio for deploying personnel to record a book for their children, for family members to record video letters to their deployed family member, or to record a Recordable Book. Contact AFRC at 731-4900 to schedule the studio.
