If you are within 1-year of separating or within 2-years of retiring from the Air Force, the Transition Assistance Program can help both you and your family by providing:

  • Transition Counseling
  • Career Planning
  • Development of Job Search Skills
  • State-of-the Art Computer Programs
  • Resume Writing
  • Access to Employment Opportunities and Information
  • Employment Resource Center
  • Veteran Affairs (VA) Benefits
  • Survivor Benefit Plan – Election is mandatory for retirees prior to out-processing Malmstrom.

Workshops, seminars and individual counseling sessions can show you how to convert your Air Force skills to their civilian counterparts and market them effectively.

With the help of the Transition Assistance Team, you can acquire skills and knowledge needed to make a successful transition to another career or retirement.
