Direct Service Programs
Helping the Service Member and Family
Several direct service programs are available to meet needs common to all Air Force members and families. These include:
- Increase personal family satisfaction through LIFE SKILLS education. »
- Prepare for deployment separation with READINESS information. »
- Get a handle on your finances and prepare for your financial future with FINANCIAL COUNSELING. »
- Apply for emergency grants or no interest loans with AIR FORCE AID assistance. »
- Seek local employment and develop your job search skills with CAREER FOCUS help. »
- Ease your move to Malmstrom or your new location by using the services of RELOCATION. »
- When it’s time to retire or separate, learn all about entitlements and employment opportunities through TRANSITION support. »
- MILITARY FAMILY LIFE CONSULTANT provides short-term, situational, problem-solving counseling services. »
- Information and referral for both base and local resources
- Support to families in times of crisis and/or loss through your CASUALTY ASSISTANCE REPRESENTATIVE.
In addition to these, each center offers programs that are based on local needs, such as support during family separations, marriage enrichment, financial investments, and much more.
