Welding Class
Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 5:30 to 9 pm
Learn the fundamentals of welding, such as M.I.G. welding and plasma cutting.
Cost: $25 per person for instruction and materials.
Paint Booth Intro Class
Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 9 pm
Learn to use the paint booth and paint gun; receive certification to use both.
Cost: $25 per person for instruction and materials.
Jewelry Making Class
Every Tuesday and Thursday in September, from 6 to 8 pm
Learn to make beautiful jewelry, choose from necklaces, earrings or bracelets.
Cost: $10 per student for instruction, per class. Student must purchase materials.
Knitting and Crocheting - September
Tuesdays, from 3 to 5 pm
Fridays, from 9:30 to 11:30 am
Learning how to crochet requires little more than a few simple stitches and some practice.
Cost: $10 per student for instruction and materials for first class; $5 for other sessions.
Basket Weaving
Tuesdays, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
You will also find that making baskets is very rewarding and make terrific personal gifts for your family and friends.
Cost: $20 - plus some of your own materials. This is a 4-week course starting Sept. 7.
Beginning Sewing Class
Tuesdays & Thursdays, Sept. 14, 16, 21 & 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
Learn step-by-step instructions to complete your first project. You’ll gain a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment as you create designs and save money on a wardrobe that costs a fraction of the normal cost.
Cost: $50. Sewing machine provided; materials and patterns purchased after 1st class.
Mosaic Stained Glass Class
Saturdays, starting Sept. 11 (6-week class) from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm
Stained glass is a pleasurable art and hobby.
Cost: $35 - 6 week class. Some materials are provided for 1st class – you will pick next project and purchase needed materials.
Bob Ross Painting Class (Mountain Lake scene)
Saturday, Sept. 18, from 10 am to 4 pm
Learn this exciting painting method, taught by a Bob Ross trained and certified instructor.
Cost: $55 per person.
Oil Painting
(Dorothy Dent Techniques)
Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 am to 4 pm
Learn to paint some of the country landscapes that Dorothy is so well known for - old barns, water mills, cabins, and rural settings.

Card Making Class

Show your friends and family how much you care with beautiful handmade greeting cards for birthdays, anniversaries, and other celebrations.

Stained Glass Class

This is a 3-session beginner class - learn to use glass cutting tools, a soldering iron and a glass grinder.

Flower and Cake Design
Thursdays, Sept. 2, 9, 16 & 23, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
This 4-week class includes instruction on how to design a cake and add flowers to create a beautiful centerpiece for any event.
Cost: $20 - must purchase kit.
Basic Cake Decorating I
Saturdays, Sept. 4, 11, 18 & 25, from noon to 2 pm
This is a 4-week class starting with the basics and ending with a “Graduation Cake” for the final class.
Cost: $20 - must purchase kit.
The wood shop is stocked with a variety of woodworking equipment to suit any of your project needs. The following classes are for ages 16 and up.
Beginning Woodworking
Tuesday and Thursday, Sept. 14 & 16, from 6 to 8:30 pm
Learn to make a shelf in this two-evening class. A choice of two shelves is available – a country shelf and a bathroom shelf.
Cost: $10 per person, plus materials.
Intermediate Woodworking
Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept. 21, 23, 28 & 30, from 6 to 8:30 pm
Learn more advanced patterns, such as a flower box or an Adirondack chair in this 4-evening class.
Cost: $25 per person, plus materials.
Our custom framing presentation and mounting of posters, shadowboxes, stitchery, and photographs meet the demands of professionals.
Basic Framing
Every Tuesday & Thursday in September, from 6 to 8:30 pm
Learn how to cut a double matt, cut glass and a wooden frame to size, pick matting colors and measure pictures.

Do-It-Yourself Framing
Shop use fee is $2 an hour. Shop users must have a current qualification card to use the equipment.
